The One That Got Away – Dark Wine

A brand new limited edition colour of my classic and ever popular “One that Got Away” in a gorgeous dark purple/wine, with one genuine 24k gold leaf escaping butterfly. All beautifully set within a hand built black frame. A fabulous piece to fit any interior space – I’m only making 15 in this colour so get it quick.

Butterflies radiate out from the centre of the frame in a circular pattern, which has order and symmetry only broken by one single escaping & precious 24crt gold leaf butterfly. Circular Art – I love that it has an initial abstract, modern feel and reveals the butterfly design on closer inspection. The 3-dimensional aspect creates beautiful shadows which give the artwork a life of its own and changes throughout the day in changing light situations.
